Sukhe Soul Flow is a movement based event that invites you on a journey through sound and into rhythmic flow with your body. We combine breath, sound, and somatic movement to reconnect us with our bodies in an intentional and explorative way.
Somatics describes any practice that uses the mind-body connection to help you bring awareness to your internal self and listen to signals your body sends about areas of pain, discomfort, and imbalance, as well as pleasurable movements and experiences. This is a type of movement in which you pay close attention to your bodily sensations, position in space, and gut feelings (such as subtle changes in heart rate or breathing) as you move.
We invite everyone to join us in the soulful flow of movement meditation to find yourself in the present moment as we move through this journey together. Each individual goes on their own journey, exploring their body, sharing the collective experience of movement, which can move us beyond self-imposed limitations and isolation into new depths of creativity and connection.
